As people in most of the U.S. are doing their best to survive a brutal cold snap, here in California things aren't so bad. At least not in So Cal! Mammoth Lakes in the Sierra Nevada currently has a temp of 6 degrees Fahrenheit (-14 Celsius) but here in Laguna Beach we're managing through an afternoon of 59 F (15 C) and rain. It could be worse. Actually, it is ideal writing weather. I already got out to play soccer in the morning before the rain moved in and now I can put on some tea, a bit of music, and settle in to pound out some words. Really, what more could a writer ask for? :-)
