Down to the Algarve

I took a road trip with a friend this week down to southern Portugal, to a region called the Algarve.  Lots of small hillside villages clustered around ancient castles, and a stunning coastline.  It was great to check it all out, especially before the summer tourist crowds set in.  I'm not making as much progress as I'd like on my latest novel, but I guess I can't complain too much. ;-)  Here are some of the photos from the trip:

  1. Hi Kenneth - I love the Algarve photos - the beach looks amazing but I SO want to spend a summer in one of those lovely beach houses in picture #3 - it looks soooo idyllic!

We are having an amazing Spring here in Scotland. It is really (unseasonably) warm and the sun is shining. I just hope it continues.

    Keep the photos coming!

  2. Yeah, I want to stay in one of those cottages too, but they go for 2,500 euros per week in the summer! Ouch! Glad you're having such a nice Spring up there in Scotland!
